During our recent getaway to Ashfield B&B, my partner and I fell in love with the tranquil setting and impeccable hospitality. Nestled just an 8-minute walk from Kenmare town, it was the perfect launching pad for our adventures—whether we were exploring local trails or indulging in the town's diverse culinary scene. Mary, our delightful host, not only served us a breakfast with locally-sourced goodies that celebrated the vibrant flavors of Ireland, but also shared tips for hidden gems in the area. After a day of walking along the stunning Kerry Way, surveying the beautiful mountains and river over breakfast was simply the icing on the cake. With comfortable, well-appointed rooms that provided a peaceful night’s sleep, we relaxed each evening with tea, enjoying the garden views. All in all, Ashfield B&B was a lovely blend of comfort and charm, and an ideal spot for anyone seeking both adventure and relaxation in this enchanting corner of County Kerry.
